We have had a busy few weeks with several dates in our diaries for Christmas Events/Craft Fairs at various places around the County. We took delivery of several rolls of fabric that we thought would appeal to our customers for their Christmas tables. One in particular, Festive Sparkle, took us all by surprise. Its a beautiful bronze coloured cloth with white lace effect on top and sparkles are embedded within the fabric. It never fails to please and the day before delivery I popped a photograph of it on our facebook page. The response was immediate and we had sold our entire supply within 24 hours. I had earmarked some for myself but due to demand I had to sell it to a customer! Luckily a further delivery arrived and this time I made sure I got mine.
We had a very successful weekend at our local Glitter Arti Craft Fayre. Firstly, it was indoors and nice and warm, and secondly, we were right by the Cafe! It was really nice to meet a lot of local people as normally our events take place at various places around the Country and as a result we have had several visitors to our work unit, where they are able to see our whole range of fabrics and products and if they are lucky (and we have some milk left) get a cup of tea.
Next up was a wet and windy Friday night outdoor street market in the adjoining village. Lots of people turned up and the Christmas Tree lights were switched on. Luckily our trade stand gazebo was well weighted and tied down with sandbags and ropes (a lesson learned from a previous incident!) and all was well. We kept nice and dry but a new experience for us was the generator and lights. Thank Goodness for the Men Who Can! Well done David, Terry and Stuart.
We still have a few more events to attend and our stock level of hand made accessories keeps dwindling down so its a constant round of cutting and sewing to keep us supplied. Our satchel bags have proved a great success.
Not long now until Christmas so if you haven't got your Christmas Tablecloth yet don't delay. Order yours Today!
